Account

How do I create an account?
Click Sign in at the top of any page and choose Continue with email. Enter your email address and follow the link we send you — no password required.
I did not receive a sign-in email.
Check your spam or junk folder first. If it is not there, wait a minute and try again. Make sure you are using the same email address you signed up with.
How do I change my email address or display name?
Visit your profile page to update your display name. To change your email address, contact support — email changes require identity verification.
How do I delete my account?
Send a deletion request to privacy@poursue.com from your registered address. We will permanently delete your account and associated data within 30 days.

Venues & discovery

How do I find venues near me?
Use the map on the home page. Allow location access when prompted and the map will centre on your current position. You can also search by city or neighbourhood using the search bar.
How do I save a venue to my favourites?
On any venue page, tap the bookmark icon. You must be signed in. Find all your saved venues under Favourites in the menu.
How do I check in to a venue?
Open the venue page and tap Check in. Check-ins are visible on your profile and help surface popular venues to other users.
A venue is missing or has incorrect information.
You can report an issue directly from the venue page using the “Report an issue” link. If the venue is missing entirely, use Add venue.

Venue owners

How do I add or claim my venue?
Sign in, then go to Add venue. If your venue already exists in the directory, use the “Report an issue” link to flag it and request ownership — include a note explaining you are the owner.
I received a report about my venue — what happens now?
When a report is verified, our team will forward it to you with a note explaining what needs attention. You will see it under My venues. Once you have made the requested changes, mark the case as resolved.
I disagree with a report that was forwarded to me.
Mark the case as resolved and include a note explaining why the information is correct. Our team will review it. If you believe the report was made in bad faith, contact support@poursue.com.

Reporting & moderation

How do I report an issue with a venue?
Open the venue page and tap "Report an issue" at the bottom. Select the reason that best fits, add any helpful context, and submit. You must be signed in.
My report was dismissed — why?
Reports are dismissed when our team cannot verify the issue or when the reported information is accurate. If you believe the dismissal was an error, you can re-submit with additional context or contact support.
Can I report a comment?
Yes. Each comment has a report option. Inappropriate or spam comments are reviewed by our moderation team.
How long does it take to review a report?
Most reports are reviewed within a few business days. High-priority reports (venue permanently closed, inappropriate content) are handled sooner.

Privacy & data

What data does Poursue collect?
See our Privacy Policy for a full breakdown. In short: your email, display name, check-ins, favourites, and any venues you add or reviews you write.
How do I request deletion of my data?
Email privacy@poursue.com from your registered address. We will process the request within 30 days.
Does Poursue sell my data?
No. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
